What is the Center for Community Service Agencies (CCSA)
?
There are 11 independent agencies which
sub-lease from the Volunteer Action Center in an arrangement called the Center
for Community Service Agencies (CCSA). Agencies share the cost of personnel
(janitorial and reception), equipment, and services.Central WV Aging Services
is a nonprofit, social services agency that serves the elderly and disabled in
46 out of 55 WV counties. CWVAS opened the Parkersburg branch in May 2006.

865-5420. Black Diamond Girl Scout Council: Girl scouting helps girls to grow

services for children and adults with disabilities, helping them to maximize
their abilities and live purposeful lives. The executive director is Jane

The Arc of the Mid-Ohio Valley
has been the premier
advocacy organization devoted to promoting the well-being of and ensuring a
satisfying and productive life for our citizens with mental retardation and
related developmental disabilities. The executive director is Christina
Smith.
WV Birth to Three (an Arc of the
Mid-Ohio Valley program) works with parents of children at risk of
developmental delays from birth to age 3.

ecumenical network of 10 active churches working together to provide support for
pregnant women, children, and young families. The executive director is

start-up, sole proprietorship providing a wide range of consulting services with
a strong emphasis on airport planning. It specializes in transportation
consulting, regulatory compliance, training and public awareness campaigns.

Catholic Charities WV provides emergency funding for utilities,
prescriptions, transportation, and other services on an as-needed basis.
They also provide the MedsAccess Program which is long term medication for
people who are not eligible for Medicare Part D. The director is Val Kula.

adolescents, and families. Their staff provides in-home and on-site
services which include parenting, supervised visits, therapy, psychiatric
services, family counseling, and more.

Senior Stitchers is a group of senior women who make lap quilts, foster care
backpacks, cancer caps, Alzheimer's aprons, walker bags, and much more. They
send care packages once per month to military service personnel.
