Become a FaithLink Care Receiver:

You may be eligible for FaithLink services if:

you are elderly

you are disabled

you are chronically ill

you care caring for a loved one with special needs

Volunteers will be matched with applicants according to needs and skills.  Special requests will require additional time.

Time and frequency of service will be determined by the volunteer and the care receiver.  This usually will not exceed 1 - 2 contacts per week.

Volunteer caregivers are trained to respect the privacy of care receivers and are required to maintain confidentiality of information obtained during volunteer service.  The volunteer assigned to a care receiver will receive a copy of that care receiver's Application for FaithLink services.

Home telephone numbers of volunteers will not be given to care receivers and should not be requested.

For the safety of care receivers, volunteers will be provided with a FaithLink identification badge.  Care receivers should ask to see this if ever in doubt of a volunteer's identity.

FaithLink volunteers cannot provide personal care such as feeding, bathing, etc, administer medications or hep with major long-term projects and home repairs.
