Program/Service Notes:
The FRN is funded by the DHHR in addition to
support from local organizations and businesses. This organization provides a
forum for consumers to participate in system change, it also helps agencies to
coordinate services, identify gaps in services, and participate in
collaboration. It is the primary coordinating body for local services for
children and families. It does not provide direct services. The FRN can reduce
duplication and bureaucracy, promote prevention by supporting programs that help
families early, streamline service, act as a clearing house for information
about local needs and available services.
