Free health care clinic - providing primary health care to the medically indigent in the community. The clinic also participates in the West Virginia Breast and Cervical Cancer Screening Program. Services are provided to individuals who have no Medicaid, Medicare or any type of health insurance and have incomes that fall at or below 133% of the Federal Poverty Levels. Patients are seen by appointment only. clinic hours are Monday - Wednesday 8 am - 4 pm (closed between 12:00 and 1:00 pm for lunch) and Thursday and Friday 8 am - 12 noon. Physician clinics are held on the first and third Thursday of each month from 6 - 9 pm and again are by appointment only. diagnostic testing is provided by both local hospitals on a monthly rotating basis. Pharmacy services are available - prescriptions written by Good Samaritan Clinic providers may be filled at a $1 handling fee/donation. No dental services are provided. |
