Program/Service Notes:
Provide rental assistance to low-income families or individuals. Applications for rental assistance are given out at the Main Office, Tanglewood Villa, Monday through Friday. Eligibility for both the Section 8 rental assistance program and the Public Housing Program is determined by income guidelines.
We have two Public Housing Projects in Jackson County:
1. Tanglewood Villa , which is for handicapped , disabled, or elderly individuals.
2. Rolling Meadow Village, which is more of a family oriented development.
We service Jackson, Roane, Calhoun and Gilmer Counties.
