Program/Service Notes:
Secure detention, court appointed, restricted to criminal offenses only. Males 10-18 or older, if still under juv. jurisdiction, and females 12-18 or older, if under juv. jurisdiction. Provide assessment and /or treatment for juveniles who have entered the Juvenile or Adult Court system. Services include the provision for basic needs, prevention of violation of the youth's legal rights while committed; provision for the physical, emotional, religious, educational, and social needs of the youth, a safe, humane environment; and an assessment and/or treatment program designed to effect the youth; transition from negative, socially unacceptable behavior to positive, socially acceptable behavior.
