Offers training programs funded by the Job Training Partnership Act. This means that persons interested in our training programs must first be certified and tested by the WV Job Service/Assessment Case Management Center and then be referred. Youth Employment and Training Program (YETP)for ages 16-21, this program is available to In-School and Out-of-School youth who meet income eligibility requirements as determined by the State. Students who are still in school must be a junior or senior and must not be planning post-secondary education. Out-of-School youth who are not graduates must be willing to complete their high school education (GED) to participate in a program. All Program Participants are required to complete Life Management Skills while on a program, and will receive instruction in Job finding. Youth will also receive Pre-Employment/Work Maturity training. We offer on site GED classes for those program participants who have not received their High School diploma or GED.
