Depression Support Group will meet for one hour from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm on Tuesday afternoons. The focus of group will be in cognitive behavioral interventions and identification of the patterns that support continued depression, identification of alternate behaviors to disrupt those patterns, and encouragement of behavioral change. It will also function as a support group for patients with depression coming from the Adult Crisis Stabilization Program. It will be limited to adults. It also will be an open ended group with patients being able to be added after the group starts and graduate from the group as their depression lifts.
