Intensive Psychiatric Outpatient Treatment as an Alternative to Hospitalization. The Senior Crisis Stabilization Program consists of an innovative series of group and individual counseling sessions combined with psychiatric management. Special emphasis is placed upon re-motivating the older person to achieve his or her optimum level of functioning. This program is for seniors over 65 years of age. This consists of: Series of treatment sessions lasting approximately six hours each day. Patients return home each evening. Transportation services can be provided when necessary. Most major insurance programs, Medicare, and Medicaid are accepted.
