Program/Service Notes:
To educate about HIV/AIDS to everyone possible and to assist HIV/AIDS infected persons in anyway possible (Financial Assistance, Support, Education, Medication, ETC.) PURPOSE: (1) To provide free educational seminars to groups and organizations about the transmission of HIV/AIDS and other sexually transmitted diseases and risky behaviors. (2) To maintain an informational telephone service and to answer questions anonymously. SERVICES: (1) Monthly meetings opened to all concerned individuals, held on the third Wednesday of each month at the American Red Cross building, 8th and Market Streets, Parkersburg, WV. (2) Provide information and referral for persons who are HIV+ or have AIDS. (3) Provide one-to-one counseling for those affected by HIV.
