Small Fry Basketball: 1 week Program at 7 locations county wide. Ages 8 thru 12 Cost is $15.00 Playgrounds: 6 week summer program for children ages 6-12 yrs of age. 10 locations county wide. No Cost/Free Lunch. Tee Ball: 6 Week program begins in June. Boys & Girls 5 & 6 yrs old. Games are played at Worthington Field. Cost is $15.00 Tennis: Children 5 thru 16 yrs of age. Program is 6 weeks and is played at City Park. Cost is $30.00. Girls & Boys Intermediate Basketball: Played at Vandevender Jr. High starts in September for 8 weeks. Girls & Boys 13-15 yrs of age. Cost is $25.00. Pony & Colt Baseball: Boys 13-15 yrs of age. Held in late March. Locations vary. Cost is $35.00 High School Baseball: Held at the 4 High Schools. Schedules available at Recreation Commission prior to the season. Wood County Elementary Track: Children 7-14 years of age. There is no cost. Run in conjuction with the schools. After School Recreation: Held at the following locations: Vienna, Lubeck, Jefferson, Franklin, Waverly, Criss, Greenmont, Neal, Gihon, and Worthington. Cost is $4 per child, or $5 for 2 children. Girls Elementary Basketball: Ran through participating elementary schools. Girls grades 4-6 are eligible to try out at their school. No Cost. Boys elementary Basketball: Ran through participating elementary schools. Boys grades 4 - 6 are eligible to try out at their school. No Cost. Cougarettes Pom Squad: Competitive dance & Pom squad. Ages 5-15. Try-outs periodical. Summer Youth Soccer: Six week program held at Neale school beginning in late June. For grades 5 thru 9th. Cost is $20. Wood County Junior Wrestling League: Consists of 6 locations for ages 5-13. End of October. Fee is $12 or $20 per family. Worthington Jr. Baseball: Ages 7-12 years of age. Late March for 14 weeks. Cost is $20.
