This program will make grants of up to $3,ooo available to artists and art groups in counties that touch the Ohio/WV border. The purpose of the program is to build cooperation between artists and art groups across the Ohio River. The Ohio and West Virginia State Arts agencies have designed this program to help art programs serving both sides of the Ohio River gain access to funding from both states. Projects submitted for the 1998 program should involve communities on both sides of the Ohio River and encourage collaboration among artists, art groups and/or other community organizations.
