Job Corps is a job training program available to young adults ages 16-24. This program is sponsored by the U.S. Department of Labor. If you are accepted into the program, you will be assigned to a campus that has everything you will need to make the most of your training. You will receive free room and meals, medical and dental care, spending money, child care assistance and more. Job Corps offers many occupational training opportunities. You can choose careers such as health occupations, office skills, welding, food service and auto mechanics. Take advantage of our academic programs whether you have finished high school or not. GED classes are also available to you here at Job Corps. When you graduate from the program, our placement counselors will help you find employment that is right for you. You will also receive money from Job Corps called readjustment funds that will help you make a smooth transition into the work world.
