The purpose of the Council is to serve as a forum for ideas and information on issues of importance to the community. To inform and educate the public about services in the community. To study health, education, welfare, and social needs and to recommend constructive action. To encourage cooperation, coordination, and communication among individuals and agencies to better serve the needs of the community. The Council meets at noon the second Tuesday of each month at Good Shepherd Episcopal Church, 903 Charles Street. Meetings are not held during June, July, and August. A catered lunch is provided for those interested for a nominal charge.
