R.O.S.E. is the Wirt County Outreach for the Family Crisis Intervention Center of Region V., Inc., Parkersburg, WV. The center provides confidential services and refuge from abuse such as physical, sexual, verbal/emotional battering, and destruction of property and pets. The following types of services are available: 24-hour hotline Shelter is not provided to victims under the influence of alcohol or drugs, in need of emergency mental health intervention(suicidal, homicidal, psychotic),who need custodial or rehabilitative medical care, or who have been previously sheltered at FCIC and have committed serious infraction of house policies. Victims can be referred to other local agencies for assistance.
