Managed by the Human Resource Development Foundation, the Youth Advantage Program is funded by the WorkForce Investment Board. This is a job training program for youth ages 14-21 years. The Workforce Investment Board of the Mid-Ohio Valley is responsible for the administration and implementation of federal employment and training programs in a nine county area of West Virginia. If you qualify as a dislocated worker or a displaced homemaker, Workforce Investment Act(WIA) funding may assist you in many ways, depending on your specific situation. Services may include case management, career exploration and occupational training.
