Program/Service Notes:
PURPOSE: Mission Statement: The Salvation Army, an international movement, is an evangelical part of the Universal Christian Church. Its message is based on the Bible, its ministry is motivated by the love of God. Its mission is to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and to meet human needs in His name without discrimination. Many emergency services offered to people in need. Recreation and athletic activities through the community center program. Outdoor activities at our park, and resident camping program in Hedgesville, WV. A hot meal is served to those in need at noon, and starting 4/99 an evening meal will be served between the hours of 5-6 pm. Shelter - Emergency for homeless - Transitional housing for homeless  families. Emergency Assistance w/Utilities, Clothes, Furniture & Thrift Store.
