Handicap Accessibility:
Temporary housing without cost for individuals and families that are traveling and may be involved in a vehicle breakdown or accident, individuals and families who have lost their home to a natural disaster such as fire or flood , and for those who are from out of town and have a family member in the hospital. The Sanctuary House is not rent relief, but for emergency situations.
CALL FOR ASSISTANCE PROCEDURE:
Determine the need.... Fire, Flood, Out of town hospitalization, Out of town vehicle problem or accident.
Before Calling determine if child restraint seats will be needed for young children to be transported.
Call initial contact person at pager # 420-3705, to make your referral and we will return your call.
Initial contact person will determine availability and return your call.
The "Host Couple" Will respond to your facility to meet with you and the family in need. The "Host Couple" will review the house rules and complete the proper paper work for occupancy.
This shall be completed at your facility with a representative of your agency present.
The "Host Couple" will then arrange transportation to the "Sanctuary House."
