Program/Service Notes:
PURPOSE: Serves as a forum for discussion and coordination of agencies and programs in prevention, law enforcement, juvenile justice and correction. Coordinates and oversees grant programs which are vital to the broad effort to enhance the operation of law enforcement and correction activities in Wood County. Strives for the prevention of crime through the use of a proactive citizen group: review & interpret issues affecting law enforcement, juvenile justice, and correction and support. SERVICES: Operates the Mid-Ohio Valley Regional Highway Safety Program. Has literature and materials available on highway safety issues.
