Program/Service Notes:
A statewide program to help children of working parents get the necessary and preventive health care they need to grow into strong, healthy adults. WV CHIP covers children from birth to 18 years old. A child's eligibility is based on income and lack of health insurance. WV CHIP is not an alternative to WV Medicaid or other health insurance you child may have. Eligibility for this program is based on your child's lack of health insurance and the family's income, some insurance exceptions apply. You can own your own home or car and still be eligibility.
